Delete in the app

Your Write2Notes account is shared by the website and the iOS and Android apps. To delete it, open the Write2Notes app, sign in, go to Account, choose Delete account, and confirm with your password.

Without the app, email legal@write2notes.com from the address you signed up with and ask us to delete your account.

What happens

• You are signed out everywhere right away.
• Within 24 hours your documents, conversion results, email address, password, sessions and API keys are permanently deleted.
• Website (Stripe) subscriptions are cancelled automatically.
• Apple App Store and Google Play subscriptions must be cancelled in that store. Deletion finishes once the subscription has ended.

What we keep

• Payment, credit and usage records, linked only to an anonymous account number, for tax, accounting and refund handling.
• A one-way coded form of your email address. It cannot be turned back into your email; it only stops a new account with the same email from receiving free signup credits again.
• Database backups, which are deleted automatically after 30 days.
